Veredus makes Interim appointment for Private Practice division
Carl Smith has moved from Odgers Berndtson to join Veredus’ interim management team. In his previous role he specialised in the placement of senior executives within the private sector, with a particular focus on the consumer sector.
Smith will be based in the Manchester office and will be tasked with developing the north west’s private sector interim offering, whilst also working on the development of the regions public private interface.
Speaking about his new appointment, Smith comments: “I am delighted to be joining the Interim Management team at Veredus. From the outset John Laycock and the wider team have lived up to their deserved reputation for quality. I have been hugely impressed by the collaboration, professionalism and vast experience of the team and look forward to working with them to build on their success. The current trend for flexible human solutions within the private sector will provide me with a great opportunity to develop the Veredus brand in the North West.”
Director of Interim Management, John Laycock adds: “Carl will bring our private sector interim practice and our Manchester office overall a wealth of experience and credibility in the North West market, which he has gained over a number of years. We are delighted to have attracted someone of his talents into our private sector team, which is continuing to grow at a time when market conditions are challenging in the overall economy. We are finding that demand for high quality interim managers is increasing and Carl will add further impetus in the North West to this expansion.”
