Alium expand their Interim team
The interim management provider has today announced two new appointments in its public sector practice. Peter Strachan has become Head of Alium’s Central Government and Police Practice, and Jessica Bacon has been promoted to the position of Practice Consultant.
Strachan joins Alium following a thirty-year career with the Ministry of Defence (MoD). His most recent position with the MoD was Staff Officer within the Directorate of Defence Diplomacy, where he handled the preparation for appointment of 450 Defence Attaché Staff worldwide.
Bacon began her career at Alium in 2006, and in her new role will focus on the practice’s major accounts.
Mike Hollin, Head of Alium Partners’ public sector practice, said: “We have seen significant growth in our public sector business, across both Central Government and Local Government, and we expect this to continue as we demonstrate added value to our many clients.
“Peter and Jessica will play critical roles in the ongoing development of our practice. Peter has a wealth of expertise and experience in working at very senior levels with government departments, and Jessica has demonstrated exceptional account management skills during her time at Alium.”
